Spring makes me think pretty and feminine photo sessions. Right now I'm thinking Princesses & Parasols.

The right wardrobe and props help tell the story in a photo session and parasols illustrate a romantic and whimsical story.
The images above are obviously from weddings but I think they're fun many different types of photo sessions.
Of course you also need the right outfit to complete the story. I love these dresses from Everything But the Princess for a little girl.
