Beach Engagement Session Inspiration

I'm super excited about the beach engagement session I'm shooting next weekend. I scour Pinterest for inspiration for all of my sessions and have found some really beautiful images.

  Now, what to wear for a beach engagement photo session? A beautiful silk dress would be magical for an engagement session. LaLa Couture in Ft. Lauderdale has many options but two dresses in particular caught my eye, seen below in the inspiration board. The color block, hi low coral dress by Akiko and the short shibori dyed dress with slit sleeves also by Akiko. They are super chic, yet easy and not so trendy that the pictures will look dated in years to come. For the future groom, I always love a linen button down in a coordinating color with rolled up pants (so they don't get wet & sandy or shorts). Another option is from Moods of Norway, a white long sleeve shirt with fine, polka dot pin stripes. Moods of Norway is a new discovery for me and I love their attention to detail. The button placket is a contrasting blue plaid and the inside of the cuff is the same. Classic with some spice!

The most important thing to consider when selecting an outfit for a photo shoot is a. do you love it and b. are you comfortable in it. If you can shout yes to both these answers then you've found your look.
